Did you receive a snapshot the first time you applied? Or does everyone automatically revcieve a snapshot who applies?

Did you guys get to interview? Any tips? How soon did you guys find out the decision? Good luck to everyone!

It's a questionnaire about what licenses certifications you have and other questions.

I didn't get an interview 😞 I did the snapshot survey April 4th and got the rejection email April 18th so you find out pretty quick

Yeah I got it last time too! I'm guessing everyone who meets the basic qualifications from the pre employment portion of the application gets the survey

Hey!

Is anyone applying to the Fall NorCal cohort a previous KP intern/extern?  I was able to extern in the ED in my senior semester of nursing school, and I thought that would give me a one-up in the application process.  I did, however, have no prior healthcare experience prior to nursing school, and instead focused on being a full-time student with the exception of volunteering at random healthcare-related events I could find locally.

I was not selected for the Summer SoCal cohort.  I was never contacted by them for a rejection, either.  I also just applied to the NorCal cohort the other day for the first time.  Waiting for the 18th the try my luck at a second round for SoCal.

Just wanted to know if anyone is in the same boat!

Hi,

I interviewed but wasn't selected for the SoCal Summer cohort, I'm a current  KP LVN so that hurt LOL. I just applied for NorCal and received the career snapshot so that was cool. What is your situation if you get selected? Are you relocating?

Can we apply to both NorCal and socal? That sucks that employees don't get any priority.

You absolutely can apply to both. They're 2 different job numbers and listings. The SoCal one made me pick specific campus and unit so you're kind of limited. And I interviewed for L&D with 16 others for 3 available slots. I'm not mad at it, everyone is just as qualified. Be aware the pay is vastly different in SoCal.

Hi,

Oh no!  3 slots is crazy.  Congrats for making it to the interview phase, that's huge!  Do you mind sharing a bit about your interview experience?  Panel, questions, multiple candidates together, case studies...

If I do get selected, I do plan on relocating.  I'm a SoCal native and have been here my whole life up until the end of nursing school, so it would be an awesome opportunity to try something new!

SoCal native here too but I agree it's a great opportunity. The interview was like speed dating LOL, 5 managers 2 minutes at each seat with one question each. They were a mix of scenario questions and "tell me about a time". No case studies or in depth clinical questions. Then it progressed to an open raise your hand and ask the managers a question (meanwhile they notated who asked what questions), then at the end we were split into groups and given a question to brainstorm and present on. It was definitely different, and it was their first time conducting a residency group interview.
