Kaiser CRNA/DNP 2018 start

Published

Hello future CRNAs,

I want to start this forum to be able to share and get information about the application process for the CRNA/DNP starting 2018. My application will be submitted. I hope that this forum can help ease the doubts and uncertainties that are part of application process. I think that sometimes the worse part of applying to anything related to nursing is the wait time. Did the school started to call people or send out letters for the admission interview yet? Did I get accepted to the program? What questions did they asked me compared to other candidates? What are my stats compared to others? Should I be working on something else like taking classes?

My stats:

GPA 3.5

2.5 years of ICU experience by the start of the program

Member of UBT

Member of inpatient nursing quality counsel

Labor co chair of policies and practicing standards committee

Labor co chair of nursing research committee

Daisy Award

Good luck to everybody.

There is another thread someone started on the SRNA board that has replies. I've posted there, and I think we'd all love your input and support as well! I've pasted it below:

Congrats to everyone who received interview invites!! I am planning on applying next year! Can anyone help guide me through making an awesome resume? Also, any tips on where I can find a CRNA to shadow?
