Kaiser Advice Nurse

Just curious who out there has experience in Kaiser Advice Nursing? My main concern is that if I go into this field I will be “stuck” and unable to move to a different department in the future (such as ambulatory care). Any inside tips or information helps! Thanks!

Did you take the position? If so, how did you like it? I am scheduled to take the PBDS test next week any advice on how I should prepare for the test would be appreciated.

Specializes in Ambulatory Care/Clinic, previous med surge RN.

You will definitely not be stuck! This position will give you great experience to move to a Kaiser clinic or other clinic. You would be doing triage which is an important skill in any nursing job. I have friends doing this job who love it.
