i just want to say thank you to all the NICU nurses out there

you are an inspiration to me and the driving force that is keeping me going through nursing school

every time i start getting discouraged and want to quit...every time i have a test that i cant find the motivation to study for...every time i leave clinicals exhausted..every time i get frustrated with nursing school in general and feel like no one else in my life understands how mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted it can be.....i just get on this website and read about all the NICU babies and realize that my dream is not so far out of my reach. it makes everything i am doing now worth it.

good luck with everything!! you are not alone! Remember we were all there at one point or another. when you get out of school and pass NCLEX the task of finding the job you want can also be taxing! but hang in there. I have been out of school for 4 years now and finally i am so close to getting into the NICU, but its taken a while to get there!! So just hang in there and remember you can do it!! I remember when i was in nursing school I would think those 4 years would never end! and looking back at it, its all a blur, they flew by! and now these 4 years since I've been out have gone by even faster!! Good Luck with all you do!
