Math was not too bad. Keep in mind it is my worst subject and I passed with an 82. There were a lot of fractions, decimals, and percents and converting between them. Also some adding, subtraction, mult and division of fractions. Really basic algebra. There were no geometry questions.
The reading portions are very dry, but not too difficult. I looked back into the reading passage with almost every question and still finished with a few minutes to spare. You had to note the order of what was written, the main ideas of the passage and/or paragraph, and what the author was trying to say or accomplish.
I found the Kaplan study guide helpful for the basic math, although the guide contained way more than was needed on the test. Hope that helps!
I was able to answer every question and then go back and check most of my work in the time alotted. That used almost all the time for each section, maybe with a few minutes to spare. I finished the science portion very quickly but that was only because I didn't know any of the answers! Luckily, my school only looks at the reading and math portion.
There was a pop up calculator on the computer to use for the math section.
Hey Rachel! I applied to Lewis and took the KAT test today. I only really focussed on the math and reading and kinda skipped through the writing and science. Will that count against me? I passed both the reading and math with above an 82% as required. Did you get in? How do you like it?!

This morning I took my Kaplan Admission Test, which the is the admission test required at the school I am applying to. It is such a relief that it is over! This school only gives you one attempt to pass (no pressure or anything!)
We could see our score and I think I did pretty well. The problem is they don't show you their criteria for admission. So even though I think I did well, not sure if it's well enough to get in.
If anyone has questions, I'll be happy to answer while it's fresh in my mind.
