I am a new grad (LPN) about to start a new job in a gynecology office. (No OB). I have had very little gyn experience as our local facilities would not allow students while they were getting their new EMR software. so sadly we missed out on a lot of clinical rotations. anyhoo, I interviewed with the dr. and she loved me, even though she would have to start from scratch with me. so i got the job!
I am very excited and nervous. Does anyone have any recommendations on websites or books that i can start studying up on GYN procedures and equipment etc.
Thanks in advanced!

I don't know any website or books but if they are a good clinic they will teach you as you go. I worked in a family practice clinic and did some gyn procedures. Every provider does things a little bit different and want the nurse to do things just a bit different. You will learn by doing.
Congrats on the new job!

There is GYN triage book with all the basics. And it's true about all providers doing things different. Make sure you take notes. Oh yea get use to hearing the complaints of lady partsl discharge! Lol
