Just moved to Georgia and looking for nursing programs

U.S.A. Georgia

Hey everyone!

I just moved to georgia a couple weeks ago (alpharetta area). I started taking pre-reqs back in VA with the intent of entering a nursing program and now i'm looking for a good program in Georgia. I believe it's too late for me to apply to any 4 year schools so i looked at Gwinnett Tech....i heard good things about it on here and have no problem going there to get my associates rn but i'm worried about classes transferring to a 4 year school to get my bachelors (i ultimately want to be a nurse anesthetist). According to the schools website core classes such as math or english should transfer but it sounds like others may not :/ I'm planning on talking to a counselor soon to clear this up....otherwise i'm also looking at kennesaw or emory...any words or advice on those? or any other ideas? Any and all advice/opinions are welcome!!!

Moved to GA Nursing Programs Discussion forum. Hopefully you get some helpful input from some GA members.

If you want to go directly to a BSN program, you should look at some of the schools who admit for both fall and spring classes--Georgia State, Kennesaw, and Clayton are the ones that I know of, though there are probably others. We are lucky to have many great nursing schools in the area, so I'm sure you can find a program that you would love! Best of luck to you!
