Yep, salaries in Chattanooga tend to be lower than in many other parts of the state. We supposedly have a lower cost of living. It's my understanding that the "big 3" hospitals in the area pay better than dr's offices & non-acute care facilities. Good luck to you indeed in finding a position here!
And welcome! I moved down to the area 8 years ago & I love it, too! It's a great place for families. It has it's drawbacks but overall, it's a really cool city!

Hey there, Welcome to Chattanooga! My daughter worked as an LPN for several years at the big nursing home that used to be operated by the county. I don't know which company runs it, but she was making about $22 an hour with no benefits. Some places I hear pay experienced LPN's around 18 and hour with benefits through Home Health mostly I believe. Dialysis Clinic Inc. is a good place to work also. Great benefits and they hire a lot of LPN's. I don't know how much they start out at. I guess again it would depend on expereince.

Hi all,Just moved to Chattanooga in July and love it. However I'mnew to area and trying to get idea of the pay ranges for a new LPN in hospitals. I just came from MD and it seems higher there. Also which hospitals are better to work for.
