Just got sorta good news for my future

So i'm a pre-nursing student. Ultimate goal is to be a CRNA

I've been wondering how i'm gonna go about getting a job in an ICU after graduating in 3-4 years.

Well i just found out that my mothers cousin is the head nurse(or some high position) in an ICU!

I've met her once or twice in my life but i had no idea what her occupation was. This link could turn out to be a really great thing for me. If after leaving school i can get into an ICU immediately (especially in this economy) it would be a blessing.

I always hear everyone speaking about having "connections" (i'm never that person) but for the first time i feel like i might actually have a beneficial "connection"
