I am in the senior class.
Have you taken A&P or Nutrition? If you have then you will be under less stress. If you haven't, be prepared to study A LOT!! I made it out of 1st and 2nd semester with straight As so it can be done. You just have to know yourself and learning style and come up with a study program that works for you.
Defintately a lot of studying involved!! I do not work but a lot of my classmates do. They work as CNA, PCT, or non-medical related jobs. Most only work weekends but some work 2nd shift.
No jobs lined up but I go through the career center so they will help place me and I have a few contacts that I'm hoping will help when I graduate in December.
That stinks about class but i hope your little boy was okay! I'm doing my CPR and first aid today, then my physical tomorrow and I should be finished up! Have you got any school supplies? I have no idea so I'm starting with a ton of notebooks, highlighters, and pens! For all the notes! lol
Oh okay, I'm still drawing unemployment and plan on saving as much as possible to get me through the end of the semester.
Notecards are also great. I buy the spiral books, they are more expensive but the cards stay together and it's easier to review, IMO. You will need lots of highlighters. I would go ahead and get your "oscar" (it's your syllabus) and read through it. Before class started, I made vocabulary flashcards from oscar.
Good luck guys!!

I'm super excited :yeah:I just got a call saying they had one last spot open for the fall 2010 lpn program at Chatt State through ttc! I was just wondering if anyone else was going this fall? or if current/previous students have any tips for me! Anything would be helpful! I have about 20 days to get everything in order before classes start. ekkk!
