I havent really started those yet but I assume we will this semester since we are starting clinicals soon! Glad you got it done, are they difficult material wise, or time wise? or both? lol Congrats!

care plans are a learned skill. like anything skill that you have to learn they can be difficult and slow going at first. but, with time and experience both improve. remember when you learned to ride a bike, skate or drive a car? you keep at it and constantly make improvement. care planning is no different except you follow different rules.

Congrats! I finished my first one recently!! I didn't realize how much time actually went into one. I thought that it was just a "fill in the blank" kind of thing--boy was i wrong. We had to have 5 nsg diagnoses,5 goals, 5 interventions, 5 rationals, and 5 outcomes. I thought I would never get finished!! All of the other things were mostly in the chart but I still even had to do some research on that information. Thank goodness it is over!
