There are fast track RN programs. Each has it's own requirements. As a general rule, you must already have a degree. Here in Michigan- Lansing to be specific- we have a fast track program at Michigan State and at Lansing Community College. I would do some research and see which is best for you. Some of your Surgical Tech classes may overlap with your Nursing Classes. It might be less time (if you already have credit) to get your 2 year RN then to try the fast track route. Do some checking. There are a lot of programs out there. Good luck

to know if anyone has ever heard of fast track rn program after becoming a certified surgical tech. My aunt says it is possible and I love her but I can't believe everything that comes out of her mouth.
