JU Nursing Program 2013

Good Afternoon! I was wondering if anyone on here was selected for an interview for JU's nursing program this year? I just received an email asking me to schedule my date for an interview. I am completely ecstatic about this opportunity and I have never wanted anything more. I would love to talk to other candidates for this program. I am a bit nervous, because my GPA is 3.4, and I am sure there are a lot more candidates out there with higher GPAs. In my defense, my school is on a 7 point grading scale. :) Anyways, let's share pointers and stories on here. :geek:

Hey, I also have an interview for JU's program in the Fall. I'm extremely excited and nervous!

I applied and received an email to confirm my interview. Mine is on Monday at 11:15. I just wish we didn't have to wait until June to find out if we actually made it. My cumulative GPA right now is a 3.83 and my prerequisite GPA is a 4.0. I am finishing up my AA this semester so just really anxious to find out.

How did your interviews go?

Mine went relatively well! Did you have an interview?

Yes, I had my interview on the 18th. It was not too bad. I have no idea how I did. They seemed like they loved everyone's responses.

Yeah that's pretty much the feeling I got with the group I was in lol. There were 6 people in my group which they even said isn't normal...a girl asked how many people are accepted and they basically said 35 seats out of about 170 people interviewed... I don't feel one way or the other about it. Just anxiously awaiting a letter..

That is not very many :(

Sorry for the late reply. Might felt like it went really well also. Just like others, I am just patiently waiting for June to come around. Another thing to take into account is that of all those applicants, not everyone that applied were able to get an interview from what I heard. But then again, everyone has told me a different amount of applicants. When I was there it was 167, then a girl in my class was told 150 and not all got interviews. I have three people in my microbiology class that also interviewed and that is what they told them. Who knows...just have to play the waiting game.

Good luck everyone! I felt like my interview went pretty well :) It really did feel pretty casual.

It's common to hear all different things because we all apparently interpret it differently lol I hope you're right Hughesy about the 150 applying and not all got interviews, only a month and a half of the waiting game left!!!
