Joining The Air Force Reserves

Let me first start off by saying that I love this site! So much information. You guys are simply awesome :).

I can assure you that I have spent the last few days digging through old threads and reading up as much additional info as I can. I have (briefly) talked to a AF recruiter and viewed the AF website as well. However, I still have a few questions.

1). As a nurse, what do you do in AF reserve? Please be specific.

2). I will be graduating with my BSN in a few months and will be joining the reserves with no experience. What speciality will I be started in if I have no previous nursing experience?

3). What happens if I want to move while I am still serving the active reserve portion of my commitment? Can I relocate to another base upon approval or is this out of the question?

4). Is the AF actively recruiting nurses in the reserve at this time?

5). To join the AF reserve nurse corps do have to do a interview, have a 3.0 gpa, have recommendations, etc. like you do for the active duty?
