Johns Hopkins University DNP | PMHNP - Fall 2025

Does anyone know how late they do interviews before releasing decisions? I applied before Nov. 1st and still have not heard any email about an interview. I called the admissions dept last Friday and they said they are still reviewing my application though.

Congratulations!! I applied by the extended deadline I think which was April 15? And I interviewed on May 23rd.

Oh no! Wishing you all the best with your journey. I'm sure you will be a great practitioner regardless. Let's stay in touch!

OK same! I interviewed on April 29th. It took them about 2 weeks to respond, so hopefully you will hear back this week, next week the latest. Did you apply for the PMHNP track?

1 pm, 'decision update' and thank you!

also, is there any groupchat for those who got in? I have so many questions. Including overall cost of program!

Also circling back to this, is there a group chat made already? I have a lot of questions as well

I did. This is my second time applying so I'm really praying for an acceptance. The woman I interviewed with said that they're usually pretty quick once she provides her feedback, so I've been nervous that me not hearing anything yet was a bad sign.

I hope you get admitted!! Fingers crossed that the 2nd time is a charm for you. I felt the same way but they sent me my admissions letter at 5pm LOL and I thought I got rejected at first.

Please do update if you do, would love to be in touch.

Also, not sure if you are local to Baltimore, but the admissions team is hosting an open house this Friday in person for prospective students. I plan to attend since I want to visit the campus in person.

I applied in Nov and received my acceptance early Jan for the Primary Care AGNP-DNP! Anyone else doing this program?

Hi do you mind sharing your stats? Thank you very much!

Hi! I applied late too and I recently just interviewed with them on April 29th. I think they are wrapping up decisions this week and will release next week! They mainly asked me about what I knew about the PMHNP role, whether I shadowed one, and my DNP project, along with some "getting to know you questions". I also had plenty of time to ask my questions at the end. I have a 3.7 GPA from my ABSN program if that helps!

Thank you very much for sharing your stats! Congratulations on your acceptance!

Sure! I got my ABSN from Duke and had a 3.5 GPA. I served as vice president of our nursing student council, school of nursing rep on our Grad and Professional Students Council, member of the Central Carolina Black Nurses Council. I have 2.5 years of nursing experience as a cardiac stepdown and PACU nurse.
