Hi! Are there any others out there doing orientation @ JHH on the 28th of November?

Also, for the ones who've already started orientation, what should I wear? The letter just says "dress professionally" but a professional nurse does wear scrubs, lol :lol2:

Congratulations! I wonder how many new grads there will be in our group. BTW, sbrown, did you decide what to wear? I think I'm just going to wear black dress pants and a nice shirt and sweater.

I got the packet from Nurse Recruitment yesterday after I did my employee health screen and it gives a pretty clear guide on what NOT to wear. It basically says no jeans, no t-shirts with derogatory slogans, no flip-flops, no sandals, etc...you get the picture. I am going to wear dress pants and a dress blouse or shirt also. Getting excited, but a little nervous too :)

Hahaha! I saw that. It's kind of funny what ends up having to be printed in orientation packets because someone along the way thought it was a good idea to show up looking like they just rolled out of bed. :rolleyes:

I am not nervous....yet. Right now I am just anxious to get started but I am sure that will change to nervous a couple days before we start :uhoh21:.

Well, this will be the first "real" job that I've worked since about 9 years ago! I think just the adjustment of going from "stay-at-home mom" to "working mom" will be quite a change for me!

Just wondering...my schedule says to be there @ 7:30 a.m. and to go to the Phipps building. This is the same building we did our Employee Health appointment at also correct?

I also noticed there was a "Spring Schedule" which varies somewhat from what my NM mailed me. So confused...hope I go to the correct place tomorrow. :/

FYI..the Phipps building is NOT the same building as the employee health building. Still haven't figured out the rest of the info, lol, but that's a start!

Glad you found your way their this morning!! I didn't see this until now. I didn't have a chance to talk to you today. I think you sat a couple of rows behind me :) I heard your name being called but by the time I turned around I couldn't tell who it was....Hahaha!
