Hi everyone! I wanted to make a group for the cohort that starts on August 1st. Has anyone gotten an email about the virtual interview event??

Thank you! How did your interviews go? I just had mine with ED it went so so well! I have NICU/CDH and PICU/CVICU later today. Super nervous but the ED people were soooo nice!

That's great!! I feel like my interviews went really well, I felt most confident in my hem/onc and pediatric medicine interviews. NICU/CDH was okay as well, but I feel like I didn't connect with them as much. But yes I agree, all of the interviewers were so nice and it made interviewing easier. Definitely glad it's over, now it's the waiting game! I forgot when they said, do you know when they are supposed to start calling about job offers?

I got my phone call yesterday around 1pm! I was offered a job in the NICU which is my top pick I’m so so so happy! From the sounds of it, I was luckily one of the first to get the call, but she said they will be making the calls all next week and all offers should be given out by the end of the month at the very latest. Wishing you so much luck I really hope you get an offer!

Congratulations!! Waiting "patiently" for my call (pretty nervous). Did you receive an email prior to the call if you don't mind me asking?

I did nothing receive an email before hand, but I have a feeling one of the reasons I got the call is because I am out of state so I have a bunch of extra stuff I need to do. I’m wishing you so much luck! keep in mind she said they’re giving out 50ish offers so that’s a lot of people to get through considering the phone call lasts roughly 1 hour. good luck ?

I have an interview next week for two different units in the ICU! I’m super nervous yet super excited! Praying I get an offer. 
 

Congratulations to everyone who’s received theirs and good luck to those who interview next week! 

can anyone tell me anything about the questions they usually ask?! I’m having a virtual interview for an hour since I live in Florida! Any responses are helpful! ❤️

I just received an email offering me a position in the nurse residency program at all children’s!! I had to schedule my phone call, and during the phone call is when they will let me know what unit & shift I was hired to.

Congrats!! Did they tell you what unit you were hired into? I am excited for the facebook group to be made so we can all get to know each other!

This is the group for the JHACH pediatric RN residency cohort for august 2022. All interviews were completed by April 8th, so I'm not sure if you are in the right group! The interview questions were very new grad based. Good luck your interviews!
