John hopkins hospital and starting salary

I was wondering if anyone knew the current starting salary for new grads at JHH in Baltimore. Thanks.

Hopkins Salary in still pretty much the same as above.

Thank you so much for your info. I just called the Johns Hopkins Hospital for some info, as I'm an Australian BSN soon-to-be graduate. I'm also a permanent resident, being married to an American man. The reason I studied in Australia, is because, it is subsidized by the Australian Government (education = power), in fact every University degree in Australia is subsidized. I spoke to the International HR lady and she was amazing. I am just hoping that I will get a residency program in Critical care. It would be an honour to have that on my CV.

Is it tough to get a job at JHUH?

I am an international nurse and a permanant resident. The lady I spoke to in HR, she does the international interviews, was extremely gracious to me.

I'm 12 months of graduating from an ivy league university... so here's hoping that I can get a new grad residency program there.

What a the good areas to live in Baltimore or is it best to live about an hour out of the area.

At the moment, I work in a Trauma 1 hospital in Sydney and it can sometimes take up to 1.5 hours to get there, but the experience is invaluable.

Not sure. I am a 3/5 for the 5 clinical ladders and my base pay is $74K but I make $95K because of weekend option, plus I pick up overtime on other units. So probably around $65K
