Jobs for New Grads?

Is it difficult for BSN new grads to find jobs here in our lovely state? From what I've been reading, it seems like a bit of a hurdle. Please tell me this isn't so!

I am a new grad of an accredited Nursing program in Alabama I have returned to my home town here in the Denver Metro area. i have been applying to jobs since April before i even graduated and i still can't find a job. Anyone who knows what i can do please help!
