JOBS FOR NEW CNA'S

I'm expected to finish cna class april 29th and take the state exam may 17th,I'm excited and nervous because once I finish I would like to work in a hospital and would like to know how the hospitals in the arlington, fort worth area feel about new graduates,I've gone to some of the hospital sites already and some say that at least one year experience is required,I'm so afraid to work in a nursing home because of the understaffing I've heard so much about, I'm not afraid of hard work but I want to give the best care possible and if we are always under staffed how can you?you have no choice but to take short cuts and that's not good for the resident.:crying2: I've also heard that the pay in ltc is not good either, where else can I apply if hospitals won't accept me to get experience,my goal is to go for my RN eventually that's another reason I want to work in a hospital for the paid training.

Also I'm on unemployment and really need to get back to work, and can someone tell me what the starting pay is for a cna in my position, what is the shift differential? nite/weekends.Thank you all so much for the advice you give;the different threads have been so helpful. Thanks and look to see your responses soon.:wink2:
