I have a crazy question to ask? After applying for a RN position online and you see under your current Job Status: Open....... Then several weeks later you see Job Status: Closed..... Does this mean that they are currently looking at applications & are no longer accepting job applicantions for this current position or does it mean that you didn't get the job? I have always wanted to know this answer? Thanks in advance for your comments....

If it is open, they are looking through the resumes and trying to pick the best person for the job. I have hundreds of applications out there and I continuously check the status.
