I am lined up for 4 interviews, 2 of them I will take if my first and second choice does not work out. I had my second choice before the ultimate position I want and if this hopsital offers me a position (which I think they will) before I hear from my number 1 choice....I am prepared to tell them that I have other interviews and offers that I would also like to consider before I give my acceptance but how long do I have? I would like to ask for 3 weeks to give them an answer but I am afraid this is too long.
Has anyone been in this situation and what have you done? How long can you wait to give an answer to an offer?
Thanks!

I had a offer on hold for 4 weeks. I was honest from beginn on that I wanted to do all the interview's first. The employers understood.

Just tell them at your interview you have several interviews lined up, you want to complete them all and eval from there before you'll make any decision at all. It's your job,, your license and your livelihood, not theirs.
If that particular place doesn't understand, you don't want to work there anyway...right????
Good luck with all your interviews and I hope you get the best position for you!!!!
