Job Market for RNs in LA area

My family and I were looking to relocate to the LA area from FL. The pay in FL is awful for nurses..def not good with matching cost of living. How is the job market out there for RNs? I have 4 years experience and have BSN with BLS, ACLS and PALS. My husband is about to take boards so he will be new nurse and has OR tech background. How is the LA area salary in relation to cost of living? Best hospitals in the area?

Sounds like you are coming to California with dollar signs in your eyes. Good luck finding a job in this market. The grass isn't always greener on the other side!! You are coming into one of the worst markets in the nation. Very unlikely that your husband will find a job being a new grad. I wouldn't start cherry picking which hospital I want to work at just yet. Folks are lucky to get a job at any facility in general. There are tons of threads on this very subject.
