Not sure about the hiring of new grads on the Treasure Coast but I just moved here in August 2012 and got offered 3 jobs. Lawnwood Medical Center, Jupiter Medical Center and Martin Memorial. I have been a RN with ASN for 2 1/2 year. I am currently working on my BSN.
Good luck to you. I love it here!!
Hey guys, I am graduating a BSN program in December and considering a move to Port St. Lucie. I am hearing what everybody is saying around Florida about the new grad market, but nobody is speaking specifically about the Treasure Coast. I have income to live on until I can find work so I'm not going to be desperate and freaking out, but am still a bit uncomfortable with the hearsay of people not finding jobs period. I'm not picky and willing to work on whatever unit I can get on, and have private health insurance so if I have to take per diem until I can get on full time, that's anything to get my foot in the door. What do you guys think and what's the scoop on anybody hiring at all? I know Martin is building the Tradition Medical Center in west PSL they're going to be hiring for in Summer 13. What have any of you heard? Thanks so much!
