Job hunting while pregnant

The home health agency I work for has cut my hours drastically. They have tried to put me on new cases, but the last 2 haven't worked out. I carry my family's health insurance, so if this continues we'll have to take COBRA, which will be very expensive, until the state insurance exchange starts up in January. So I'm job hunting again. As a home health nurse with trach-vent experience, I should be able to find something more stable.

I'm also pregnant. I'm due in May, so I won't be showing for a while, but I wonder how (or if) that will affect things. I know employers aren't allowed to ask, but I don't want to accept a new job only to have to leave within a year. I plan to stay with current agency per diem, at least for the health insurance.

Does anyone have advice for a pregnant job-hunting nurse?

If you want to take a new job but don't want to have to leave (on maternity leave?) within a year then that is a personal decision you have to make. Just bear in mind that you probably won't be eligible yet for FMLA by the due date...

I have an interview Monday. If I actually get a job offer, when should I disclose the pregnancy?
