Job Hunting New Grad Need Advice!

Hi, I'd like some advice from people who were new grads and found jobs. I know the job market is tough but could you give me some advice as to how to tackle it and how you got your job?

I have a few contacts, the recruiter for bellevue was my clinical instructor for pediatrics. My best friend's mom is a nurse who knows a couple of DON at some places, but I don't want to rely on them. My plan is to personally call the recruiters for places i'm interested in, go in person to submit a resume, and then follow up.

I'd truly appreciate any advice.
