I'm definitely interested in going the NP route... at least that's how I feel now... we'll see what the future holds! I don't particularly think that I will enjoy ANY career in which I'm terribly overworked and underpaid unless it goes beyond a career and turns to a PASSION. I will only learn if this is true once I start doing it. I can certainly see it becoming that way for me, but in fear of speaking too soon, I'm happy to wait and see. It seems that nurses in California seem a bit happier than other areas? I could be boldly mistaken...
I really just wanted to get an idea of what a CNA does... LVN, RN... who cleans up the patients? Who gives meds? etc., etc... it may be a team environment, but just trying to get the real scoop!

Hi there!
Just wondering if you could explain what the typical duties of a CNA, LVN, RN, and NP would be throughout their shift in a hospital setting? I already know which direction I'm headed in, but would like to get an idea of what would be on a job description for each of these?
TIA!
