Job advice

Published

So after recent interviews I got 3 job offers so I'm looking for advice on which one to choose.

Job 1 (currently in first week of orientation): 24 bed SICU at a level 4 trauma center part of major known hospital system in the area. Also will float to MICU part of HCA so pay and benefits aren't great. Most opportunity for growth. Furthest from me with a commute of 2+ hours. Highest turnover with most staff being newer grads (less than 2 years as a nurse). My preceptor would be a new grad. This place seem to have the highest acuity with CABG, and Other cardiac pts (no CVICU so they come here), some peds and some ob emergencies

Job 2: 30 bed Mixed ICU at a level 3 trauma community hospital with sometimes stepdown patients. Went to shadow and ICU seemed to be slow but was told that this usually happens during the Summer months. Pay is avg and same as job 1 same with benefits. Commute only 1 hr.

Job 3: 12 bed ICU at Level 3/4 community hospital. Highest paying between the 3. Commute 15 min. Heard management can be bad and also has a good amount of turnover.

I'm not sure. I'm leaning towards 2 but o feel like im risking out missing on the experience in 1. but I just want to hear some ideas
