Hi there ucfRN.. Did you get an interview if so how did it go?

Hey, thanks so much for asking!

I had the interview on Monday and it went great. I went in at 9am and met with the recruiter and then at 10, I met with the manager who made the interview very relaxed. From 11-1, I saw two surgeries and shadowed a circulating and scrub nurse. They are so helpful and informative.

So overall, even though it was great and I loved the unit, I hope I get that positive call soon!!

Have you had an interview with JHH?

That is awesome!!! You will hear something soon.. Have you ever been to Baltimore before? Did you get a chance to tour the city?

I had an interview Oct 4 for 2 positions Halsted 6 hospitalist unit/med surg and Meyer 9/neuro. It was a long day from 8am-4pm. but it went well. Both nurse manager offered me a position right on the spot so I chose the Meyer 9/neuro. The position starts on Jan 3. The plan was to stay with my cousin but she has since got engaged. She want me to find a roommate to rent her house out. (Did not plan for this) While I am looking for a roommate I am also looking for my own place and rent is not cheap.

Cool, I will let you know and I hope things with be smooth for you.

I wish at some point to be interviewed for another position at Hopkins. I don't know how to go about it, any insight?

My practicum wasn't ICU but I would like an ICU unit at Hopkins, preferably cardiac surgery.. Doesn't seem likely :/

It would be a dream.

Anyway, I will let you know about room mate situation
