Hi I'm Shelby. I'm starting the program this January too. I feel like I'm a little in the dark. I don't know any other JFK students, present or alumni.

Hi Shelby~ I'm Alexis. Have you done your drug screening, respiratory fit test, and gotten your ID thru JFK Hospital? I didn't know till last week so just wanted to share that. And our orientation is this Wednesday. I also emailed our instructor to see what we can do to prepare for first week of class and I will let you know once I hear back.

Hi Alexis thank you for reaching out. Do you know any more info regarding orientation or who our professors are? I just saw they posted our orientation date, yikes interfere s with my move!!

yes resp fit test and drug test did as soon as i sae an email sent to us in Nov. made an appt, still waited 2 hours. just sent in my medical/physical forms today.

What is your background/first degree in? and did you take your prereqs at UCC . Did you choose to challenge the nursing math course or did you take the course?

Our instructor is (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES OF THOSE IN YOUR PROGRAM PER TOS). And i think we should be getting a parking decal when we go for orientation.

I majored in Philosophy, Religion, and English and I had all my prerequisite from previous school. And I took the math challenge test. What about you??

Its nice to finally talk to another classmate! I met one of our other classmate when I went for the math challenge test.

Hi Alexis

I know it is so nice typing back and forth. I'm a little nervous about orientation, I've been looking forward to starting this program since Jan. 2014 when I graduated undergrad with a Nutrition degree. So I went back to school, and did 2 semesters at UCC, and took the challenge exam.in Nov.

So you completed those science courses as an English/Philosophy/Religion major? Did you know you wanted to enter a nursing program.

So I've seen those parking decals but haven't heard about when, where, or how to get one. I'm moving closer to school so my commute will be shorter but not into Muhlenberg housing.

I didn't plan on doing anything with my major when i started college. It was mostly to be well rounded because I was planning on applying to medical schools but that road wasn't for me. Now that we only have about a week left, I am getting pretty anxious and nervous since there is soo much to get done before school starts. I start moving into the school dorms this weekend and I don't want to bring too much but not forget anything either. But everything will come together once I start moving in.

Did you get your "golden ticket" yet? I got it the other day when I stopped by school since we need it for the first day of class.

Did you get your uniform yet? I am still waiting for a call from the uniform company.
