Hello everyone I just received my interview for Jefferson school of nursing, I was just wondering if anyone could give some pointers on what to expect. As well as how long after the interview do you receive a decision.
Thank You

Hi,
Prepare for the interview as you would for any job interview. Expect the basics:
1. Why do you want to be a nurse?
2. Why do you choose our nursing program?
3. What sets you apart from other applicants?
4. What unique qualities can you bring to our nursing program?
Then more specific questions:
5. What if...
6. How would you...
7. Pretend that you are a...
These questions are geared toward prompting you to use your critical thinking skills. In other words, scenario based questions.
Make sure that you bring all the docs you were asked to bring. Dress to impress. If you can, call the school and ask if they have any guidelines in terms of how to dress for an interview. As far as how long the decision will take, you can ask the interviewer this question. After all, you will have a few minutes to ask questions. So, ask away! Good luck!
Thank you for your response I appreciate it, I'm just extremely nervous and trying to prepare. I also created a portfolio do you think that was a good idea?
