Jefferson APW 2014 Nursing School Acceptance

Hi Everyone!

I am new to starting a thread so I am not sure if i am in the right area but I was accepted into the FACT program and looking to change into APW. Is there anyone who is accepted into the APW and did 1 year or going into the APW Fall 2014. Please let me know your experiences and/or why did you choose the program over FACT.

My Reasons

1. Need to have breaks

2. Really feel there is no rush to doing this program really fast truthfully. As a RN you will be okay.

3. Im actually interested in other things besides just going to school. i.e. -- organizations

Hey PomLin,

I will be starting the APW program in 2014 after originally applying for the FACT program. My main reason being the ability to work while in school and having structured breaks in-between semesters. Having already worked in the medical field for 6 years, I wanted to come out of it with a full understanding of the coursework rather than overwhelmed. I know quite a few people who have graduated from the Drexel ACE program and they had to put their lives on hold the entire time. While the price difference is significant, the ability to work turned into the deciding factor. Hopefully I will see you in the fall!
