If they tell you they need grades before they can move forward, it means they won't make a decision about you until you finish those courses and have those grades sent to Jeff. HOWEVER, make sure they're not just nagging you that you need to finish your prereqs; they seem to do that every time they send a letter. :) Check the language in the letter. They do state pretty clearly when lack of grades is holding up a decision. If they need your grades to make a decision, get them ASAP once you finish your courses. I always get the grades from my school's registrar and send them in myself, with a tracking number (e.g., via Priority Mail). I don't depend on my school's registrar to get the grades to Jeff. :)

Best of luck with your application. Oh, and don't be discouraged if it turns out they won't make a decision until you finish your current courses. Go ahead with the application and send them the grades. They do get people who back out of the program at the last minute. I can tell you that for sure!

thanks for the info and advice! it's hard to stay sane with all this when your taking these prereq classes and not knowing if you're even in the program!
