I have a Jeff State nursing uniform if anyone is interested. I wore the top 5 times to clinicals and I have never worn the jacket. They are both mediums.

I'm interested. How much are you asking for them?
Thanks

Hey I didn't get a pm. What campus are you usually at? I'm usually at the Shelby-Hoover campus on Monday afternoon. Let me know & we will set it up from there.
Thanks.
I don't attend Jeff State anymore. I work at UAB and live in Trussville.

hi, this is kind of off the subject. but being nosy. I am planning to start RN program at JS in FAll. I have been trying to get on at UAB doing pretty much anything--I would push wheelchairs, admit, literally anything. I never get any call backs when I apply. I have a feeling it may be becauase I am very overqualified for the positions I apply for. I do explain in the app, that I am going to be in school. Do you have any advice. I wanted to work at UAB while I was in school because it is where I want to work upon graduation...mostly for the tuition reimbursment to start working on my masters. My BS is from UAB.
OTHER QUESTION
what uniform etc can I go ahead and buy before I start the program...ie shoes, stethoscope etc...???THANKS
DID YOU FINISH JS, NOT LIKE IT?? I am so worried I am making a bad decision not to do the 2nd degree at UAB
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Like everywhere else, it is tough times at UAB. After working there 12 years, I am losing my job next month due to a contract not renewing. I have heard they have a hiring freeze for support positions, but I'm not sure. I work on the university side rather than the hospital so I can't speak for what goes on there.
I was in the part-time night program at JS and I did not like it. It was very unorganized with lots of drama! I decided to leave JS at the beninning of last summer to get my prereq for the AMNP at UAB. It was a gamble because I did not know if I would be accepted into UAB. It was a very, very hard decision to make. UAB will cost more, but it is about the same lenght of time. Also with a master's I could teach in the future. So in the end, I'm glad I made the decision to leave JS.
