the change is math 116 will no longer be accepted starting spring 2010... You will have to have math 100 of higher

I'm so ready for these applications to come out!!! I really hope they haven't changed anything else! For God sakes... I've been working my butt off to get these points!

I have talked to 2 nursing advisor/ instructors and Tiffany and they all said that Math requirement does not go into effect until spring applications. So for anyone applying in October for spring start date math is not changed but if you apply in the spring for the summer term then requirements change. the Spring cut off should be lower than the falls (186). I have 198 and when I talked to the advisor she said they expected cutoffs to be around 183. That is what they usually see for spring applications. Summer on the other hand has the lowest cutoff to get in. I would think you would have no prob getting in with your score.

Does anyone know if the 10 yr rule "really" applies to the high school grades for any of the community colleges around, need one that will take grades from hs as well as college...

I dont see any changes on the application for spring term so I dont know about the 10 year rule...

Its almost October! Can anyone believe it?? One more month and it will be the moment of truth! Do the letters usually go out in November??? And if youre accepted is it a packet or a letter?? I'm hoping and praying I get in! I'm so ready for this, and so ready to quit my job! :)

I'm in first semester at Shelby right now but when we got in they just sent us a letter that said you were in. That was it. You find out everything at orientation which for us was like a month before school started. I hated playing the waiting game too!! Good luck ya'l!

I really like it! I mean it's extremely hard work with tests pretty much every week but I have really enjoyed it so far... We start clinicals this week and we also haven't had anyone fail out yet either. Good luck. I know they said it'd be month but I seriously would be surprised if ya'll found out before December if you were accepted. They sent out our letters 2 days before our orientation. It's craziness. Just enjoy your time off while you can because we haven't had ANY downtime!! It goes by SUPER fast though! Let me know if you have any more questions!
