J Sargent Reynolds Fall 2015

Hi everyone! I applied to the J Sarg Fall 2015 RN program and am patiently (or so I am trying to be) waiting for the letter in the mail. I saw that last year people received theirs on July 02 so now I am getting even more anxious. Has anyone heard anything yet? Either received a letter or heard any details of when they are mailed out?

Congrats!!!!! I didn't get anything yet, so I guess that means I didn't make the cut :( my score was 79...TEARS!!!!! Did both of u guys get in?

Oh no! It could still come! Wont they send letters to everyone regardless? I am heading home now to check my mail !

I didn't get in....something about my GPA not meeting. But I have 1 A and 2 B's in the classes needed. 1 class (the orientation class)was transferred in, so idk if that mattered. Im so so sad.

ok, they said I failed 2 of the required classes YEARSSSS ago (15) and that factored in. Even if I got As in all the classes it would still only be 2.4....I am way beyond sad. I cant even fix it. This means I wont be eligible to ever apply!! But good luck to the rest of you guys

I am so so sorry!! I don't think that's right at all! Is there anyway to talk to Ms Edwards on how to fix it?? They shouldn't keep you out because of those grades so long ago :/

I know right...even if they just took off the oldest one, I'd be fine. But i emailed her. Basically she advised me to talk to my advisor on what I should do next. And i'm not changing my career path because of 2 old Fs and JSR rules....so I'm just going to try to apply at Bon Secours. Their deadline is in Aug to start in Spring 16. I assume John Tyler would be the same admin requirements as JSR.

Hey did you guys complete your immunization records??

I went to patient first with my immunization records and they got it all done for me! I also got a TB test there, a chx pox titer and a tetorifice shot

How long did it take to get your lab work back?

TB test is read in 48-72 hours and then chx pox was 48 hours
