Has anyone every developed an iv therapy team in their hospital? I'm trying. I've gathered data and am now trying to write a proposal. Does anyone have an example?

I am also interested in starting an IV Team in my hospital. So far, I've found very little data. Do you have anything you can share with me? I live in TN, by the way. Thanks.

I would like any help available to get an IV access team implemented. Any ideas on how to try this with magnet status?

Here is my hospital's(Vanderbilt University Medical Center) Procedural Nursing IV Team page:

Hope it helps.
P.S. IV Team members should also be involved in education; and quality improvement. Instead of only starting IV's, they should offer help to provider's having trouble. This can become a great asset.

contact INS they have a packet they can send you about the cost justification. Also use the 2002 CDC guidelines recommending IV teams
