I have an IV question for homework and I don't know how to find the answer. Here's the question:
Patient is getting Pitocin 2milliunits/min IV. It is supplied to the patient by infusion pump in a solution of 500mg in 500mL D5W. What is the pump setting?
Can anyone explain how to find the answer?

pitocin does not come in "mg's". only in "units". your problem has typos.
