IV Albumin administration.

Can anyone tell me the protocol used on their dialysis unit for the administration of IV Albumin for dialysis patients who' s Albumin is 1.7.

IV Albumin won't help. TPN for at least 3 months.

Albumin in dialysis is given as a volume expander to support BP.

It would help for about 2 hours. You are dealing with a nutritional problem.
