Itt Tech RN Graduates

Published

Hi everyone, I'm considering going to itt tech and I've read some good and some bad about the school but I really wanted to know how the Graduates were doing. Was it easy to get a job after graduating from their RN program? I'm specifically talking about the ITT tech in Canton , Mi. I Really want to know !

There are more posts under Breckinridge School of Nursing, but I am more than likely starting in Sept. I have my financial aid appt this coming Friday, so I'll keep you posted. After reading some of the other topics...I am excited, nervous, and everything in between. I work for DMC and have spoken with a few co-workers here and haven't heard a negative comment about ITT students. I also spoke with my aunt that has been in nursing for years (from an LPN to almost a NP now) and she said do not worry about the negative comments and that as long as we have our licenses at the end of it all...we will be able to transfer and continue our nursing education and careers.

If you look under my posts, you will find the link Breckinridge Canton topic. I know these topics are hard to find. Hope that helps a bit.

I did not start the program...they could not work around my work schedule and would not budge. If you have and afternoon or midnight job, you'll be fine. I am the lead pharmacy technician at my job and can not change my schedule without a month's notice. And since I am already employed at the hospital, I am not willing to sacrifice my full time hours at this time. Good luck to everyone else though!

I have been in contact with ITT Tech in Canton, MI to start the next session since I was not able to for the Sept. 2013 start date. So, I am being reranked in January for the March 2014 start date. I am anxious to find out whether or not I am in, because I do require a month's notice to drop down to another employment status at work.

I just graduated from ITT in Merrillville, IN. The educators there are spectacular. Like with all schools it is what you put into it. The teachers and our nurse chair are supportive and do teach us. myself and 5 of my classmates went to the Kaplan review course in Chicago for 4 days and our class was throwing out answers and rationales like they were second nature. We were there with many other students from other schools and newly graduated bachelor students and I felt like we were ahead of the game. I do not regret my decision to go to ITT.
