I just started Itt Tech's nursing program in December of 2015. I just finished my 1st quarter here. My 1st quarter was tough. Mainly because my twins were always sick, delayed, transitioning to pre-k, and my work schedule was crazy. Even though, things were crazy, I managed a 3.33 GPA. I was striving for a 4.0, but clearly that didn't happen.

Enough of the small talk....

I've heard the rumors and the bad talk.

However, From my short experience..... so far so good. Any Itt Tech Nursing Graduates?

Any advice for studying?

Tips for getting through nursing school?

Hesi? NCLEX?

I go to Breckinridge here in Florida. I'm in my 6th quarter (Two more to go. YAY!)

Anyway the program gets harder each quarter. Most of the repeats and failures happened between quarters 2-4, that's where you will lose the most people.

My advice to you would be to stay focused. It's going to get really tough as you progress through the quarters. Start practicing questions NOW. Use Saunders, quizlet or any other resource you can use to help because the HESI specialty exams are tough. Use youtube for subjects you don't quite understand and by all means ask your instructors for help. That's what they are there for.
