Its official, Passed the NCLEX see how I studied

Published

First of all i did use the pvt trick and of course it did work....but i was still somewhat reserved with going out to tell all my family and friends about passing until i was able to obtain the PV quick results for 7.95 do the poll i was surprised to see the poll results were at like 93%.

What I did to study....I used the kaplan book with the CD. I also was able to use a saunders nclex review book. I would do all the questions, Reviewed all the rationals even if i didm get the correct answer.

If i came across something that needed to be reviewed, well thats what i would do. I would iether look up in the appropiate book, or just simply google it.

I also wrote notes, like I used a sinlge subject notebook, and i guess you could say I developed "cliff notes" . Periodically I would go thru and study my cliff notes for review.

I made sure I new all the important lab values too.

I probably did anywhere between 1000 to 1500 questions

I also looked at AllNUrses.com, got some great inout from website and other students

I studied every night after work.

At the test i was like holding my breath when I approached quest 75....then quest 80...the computer did mnot shut off I was bummed and actually started to get some anxiety, so i had to dig heels in and just relaxed....I always planned on taking the full exam...so that was it...then I remember seeing quest 133...then I am guessing I answered anothe 10 or so then the comp shut down, so i am guessing i ansered another 10 or so...so somewhere around 150 quests or so...I did feel good when I left

Also a friend of mine just tested a day or two prior to me and she failed the compt shut off at 77 or so for her...that it the first I ever heard, becuase usually thats always a pass..

I usually do not post....Im a guy lol...but if this can help one person.....

So good luck to all!!!
