Well, I take the NCLEX-RN on Wed. I'm nervous as can be, having heard all the horror stories about it and what not. I did do the Kaplan Review course, have been practicing 100-150 questions a night. I scored a 70 percent on the Mosby Assess test and scored a 1025 on the HESI predictor exam. Any suggestions on things to brush up on the last couple of days? Or any suggestions on how to handle the last few days? Do I study extra hard or do I relax or what? I'd appreciate any help or suggestions people can give me. Thanks!

i rarely ask anyone to pray for me. i just find that trait a little self centered, however when it came test time, i let all personal feelings go and asked away. even if you are athiest do so!

it not only did good for myself but others in the test situation were blessed as well. a grandmotherly test administrator told us to relax and she pointed to some one and said, "you're too uptight. you need to relax! you know this information, nothing will be new to you!" best advice delivered throught the spirit of loving kindness!

so humble yourself and pray away and ask others to pray and reap the rewards!

now, this doesn't mean you shouldn't practice your nclex test questions, god forbid. do your test questions religiously lol lol lol! ! !

I really found that reviewing questions was a waste of time. There is no way you can brush up on that, at this point you either know it or you dont, there is just way to much to cover. What you should brush up on is test taking skills. Read questions very carefully, dont miss negatives, positive, or mis read words (I did and caught a few misreads) Learn how to eliminate wrong answers and how to spot correct answers. Look for the stem in the question and answer, go with your first choice (unless you realized you read the question wrong) What also worked for me was to pretend it was a practice test, really lowerd my nerves and worked! Remember to listen to your gut!

2 additional tips for the test:

1. test is not timed so take your time!

2. i wrote down the facts to the question first as if i was taking report and then i tried to figure out the answer before seeing the supplied answers.
