I've got my ADN in Nursing and a previous BS degree (non nursing) and now I am trying to decide if I should do an RN to BSN program or RN to MSN program. Can anyone who has gone the RN to MSN route tell me about your experience? I do realize that if you get halfway through the program and do not finish they do not give you the BSN, but my ultimate goal is the MSN and this seems the smoothest path. Doing the BSN, then the BSN to MSN seems like it is going to cost twice as much and take twice as long. With my student loans already up there I am shopping for cost as well as program quality.
