Hi everyone, I currently contemplating becoming an LPN, who will eventually bridge to RN. But there are a few concerns that are holding me back. One is my age, I would be starting this at the age of 35. Part of me feels like that is two old. And Two, the biggest one is that I have Choroidal Neovascular Membrane in my left eye, leaving me with no cnetral vision in that eye. This usually doesnt cause me any issues other than it does effect my depth perception. not horribly but there is still an effect. Is it worth my time and energy to go through the course to become license?

No it's not too late. When you finish, you can be 36-37 with an LPN license or without. I would choose 'with'.

My mother in law became an LPN at age 53 and worked for 10 years full time despite having Multiple Sclerosis so 35 is still Spring chicken age. Go for it if health and family responsibilities not in the way. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
