Is it worth it to get extra associates in Biology?

Hi! I got my bachelors in psychology and am currently in a 2nd degree BSN program. I took a lot of science classes at a community college over the years and was trying to see how close I am to being granted an associates in biology from there. My transcript is being reviewed at the moment. How much or any of a boost would getting an associates in biology add to my resume for when I finish nursing school and am applying for a job? If I do end up being a class short should I take that extra class during my summer off when I am trying to get a job in a hospital as well? Thank you!

I do not think a biology degree will help you get hired, but may help you overall in nursing practice. Sometimes a new job is very demanding and you might have to wait a semester to get that other class, but only you know the truth about your ability to handle both stressors at once.

I got my Associates in Biology before nursing school.

I plan on pursuing my BSN after this ADN program but I was not a previous degree-holder so that little piece of paper was framed and put in my office. It definitely added more fuel to the nursing Fire!
