Is the Visa4Nurses certificate from Josef Silny officially accepted by the Indiana Board of Nursing for RN endorsement?

I'm a foreign-educated RN currently licensed in Texas, and I have a Visa4Nurses evaluation from Josef Silny. I'm planning to apply for endorsement in Indiana and want to confirm whether this credential is accepted in place of TruMerit or VisaScreen.If anyone has gone through this process or has official confirmation, I'd really appreciate your input. Thank you!

1. Achieving a passing score on an examination prepared by the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools International, Inc (“CGFNS”).
2. A satisfactory Credentials Evaluation Service (“CES”) Report issued by CGFNS.
3. A satisfactory VisaScreen Certificate verification letter issued by CGFNS

Since requesting endorsement, only CES or VISA Screen needed.

I saw on the Board's website that credential evaluations can be done by any agency that is a member of NACES. Josef Silny & Associates is already a NACES member, and when you check the list of Nursing Boards that accept their evaluations, you can find Indiana included in the application form. That's why I'm a bit confused.

TruMerit, Inc. (TruMerit.org) and National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)

According to IC 25-23-1-11 (g) (3) for Registered Nurses and IC 25-23-1-12 (f) (3) for Licensed Practical Nurses, if you had graduated from foreign nursing schools (except for Canada - see below - Graduates of Canada Nursing Schools), in addition to all other requirements for licensure by Examination or Endorsement, you must submit documentation that you have:

1. taken an examination prepared by TruMerit, Inc.; and achieved the passing score required on the examination at the time the examination was taken(CP Examination); OR
2. a satisfactory Credentials Evaluation Service Professional Report (CES) issued by TruMerit, Inc.; OR
3. a satisfactory VisaScreen Certificate verification letter; OR
4. a satisfactory credential verification assessment from an organization member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).

Please note that transcripts, evaluations from other Jurisdictions, or 3rd parties credentialing services (other than TruMerit, Inc.) can not be accepted as a substitution for this requirement.

True Merrit is the new name for the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools International, Inc (“CGFNS”).
