Is The Center for Allied Health and Nursing Education any good?

Hi I've recently been accepted to The Center for Allied Health and Nursing and Education in Hackensack NJ for an LPN and I wanted to know if the school is hard/ difficult and what to expect! Help pleaseeee :)

Hey guys congrats on being in the school, Im just finishing first trimister and had some advice for you who are just entering. Read , Read , Read!! The chapters pile up quick and you can easily get out of focus. Also with ATI you should start ASAP and use your A&P and FUNDS book in collaboration w/ ATI book and the dvd that it comes with. Most info is on there and you have to critically think for the answer it wont be as clear black and white in the text. One last word of advice , Keep your grades to yourself and choose who you confide in and befriend wisely, you might be surprised who is out to tear you down. Good luck !

WOW:yeah: Thanks for the great advice!!!.. I'm starting on August 15th for the Evening Session. My orientation is coming up on Wednesday. :D I'm traveling from NYC and and hoping to be able to use my travel time for studying along with my other allotted study time.

How often do we have the A.T.I's? Those are done online right? I'm aware the program is intense, but I'm determined to stay focused. Anyone else out there that may be starting with me on the 15th??

HI!iM NEW TO THIS. I WANT TO ATTEND HACKENSACK NJ NURSING PROGRAM. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW WAS THE ENTRANCE EXAM. IS IT HARD. DID ANYONE HAVE TO TAKE IT TWICE. I KNOW THEY CHANGED EXAM. I TOOK EXAM 2003 WHEN IT WAS A WRITTEN TEST. I TOOK IT BACK THEN AND PASSED BUT SINCE THEY DIDNT HAVE FINACIAL AIDE I WASNT ABLE TO PAY FOR TUITION. I WOULD OF BEEN NURSE ALREADY. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT SCHOOL AND ABOUT ENTRANCE EXAM AND HOW DID U STUDY TO PASS. THANK YOU I WANT TO BE A NURSE SO BADDD!!!!!!!!!!

Hello. I REALLY WANT TO ATTEND HACKENSACK NJ SCHOOL. I LIVE NEWYORK. I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU HOW WAS THE ENTRANCE EXAM?? WAS IT HARD FOR YOU?? iM NOT REALLY GOOD IN MATH. HOW DID U STUDY?? CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME SOME TIPS,BOOKS TO STUDY..PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE. HOW IS THE SCHOOL? DID YOU PASS??? DID YOU PASS EXIT EXAM?? IS THERE TWO TESTS YOU HAVE TO TAKE AT THE END???

I would think long and hard before making that decision. The school is easy to get in....but it's not a bed of roses. This school has really dampened my sprits about wanting to be a nurse....

Wow.thank you for getting back to me. Wow!! Im so sad to hear that. Can you tell me why you feel that you.are you still attending???please can you give me details about the test and your total expierence when you have a chance, you must be tired.im happy that you got in school. Hang in there..you will make it.:)))

I withdrew from the school because I felt I wasn't being taught. As far as the test, they'll give you the info you need to study, if you decide to pursue it. I'm not going to bad mouth them, it just isn't for me. When and if I decide to pursue nursing again as a career...I'll be more selective of the school that I choose. :twocents: Good luck
