Is survey of chem really THAT bad?

I know organic isn't a lot of fun, but I'm just going to be taking Survey of Chem 1... Pretty basic stuff right? :confused: I've been avoiding chem because I DO NOT want to take it but now I'm looking at the syllabus and it doesn't seem terrible! I mean it's only the first 8 chapters in the book.

Just wondering the opinion of someone who has actually taken it! Thanks all!!! :wink2:

My chem pre req was foundations of college chem ( 4 credit lab course). It sounds like the same type of class. It was super easy and if you have a good teacher, like I did; they want to help you! Ask lots of questions and don't back down if you STILL don't understand! I did study every day, but got an A easily!!

Thank you SO much for your response! I went down and met the teacher because it's his first year with the college so I couldn't ask around to see what he was like. :) He seems great. He told me that as long as I study there's no reason I can't get a good grade in his class. I hope he is right! :up:
