Is there any Respiratory Therapy students???

Looking for some info about respiratory therapy programs. If there is anyone out there to help me that would be great.

I just recently looked into this program at a private college around my area. They said if I want to start the next program I would have to get started on my application process. So its a big decision to make within a couple of weeks. My questions to anyone out there that might know...... Pros and Cons of program? Without using medical terms what does your job consist of? I read online somewhere that you sometimes have to pull the plug is that true? Is your job depressing dealing with all the people dying? How much do you get paid when you start if working at a hospital? Do your patients appreciate the work you do for them??
